For the next 65 days, 11 hours, 48 minutes, and 28 seconds, I’ll be crafting my thoughts on the Olympics, and how the use of Design and Technology are shaping the future of the Olympic Games. From fashion to installations, to the technology never before used in the games and how that impacts performance, I’ll write about what inspires me behind the scenes.
First up, check out this amazing installation by Quayola and Memo Akten, which translates athletic movement into fluid, beautiful generative animations. Every 2 years, I’m amazed by the athletes themselves, and find myself fascinated by what the human body is capable of. It’s both art and science. And this installation brings that to life.
Want to know how they pulled it off? Check out this write up from dotmogo and see this process video (below).
Coming soon…the fashion behind the games, both performance and fashion.
